there's no stock answer. toooo many variables and factors involved. some people have a fast metabolism which will speed up the rate they lose weight. the best thing is to ignore all fad diets. cut out sugar and alcohol from your diet. eat lots of vegetables and healthy grains (no white bread, white pasta, white rice, etc), and some healthy protein (chicken and fish instead of meat) and definitely exercise every day, get your heart rate up, ie speed walk, bike, rollerblade, skip, swim, for at least 25 solid minutes. get that heart racing. and of course drink heaps of water all day long. if you lose the weight too quickly, it won't stay off. so give yourself a solid year at the very least. don't go for quick fixes. exercise more and eat less. and if you must splurge, have a few cookies, not the entire box. set weekly and monthly goals. and good luck.
