It depends. If you're learning for fun then I think that either Russian or Arabic would be great choices. By learning either of these you would be opening yourself up to a very wide variety of languages and cultures. Plus both of these languages have high numbers of speakers so finding someone to practice with shouldn't be too hard.

If you are learning the language more so for job reasons though then Chinese, French, or German would be your best bet. Chinese has over a billion speakers and plus the economy of China is really gaining momentum. French is commonly spoken throughout western Europe either as a first or second language and it is also a lingua franca of much of Africa as well as Canada. German would be better if you see yourself working with Germany or eastern Europe however,
Just think of why you are learning the language and pick a language with a culture that will interest you.

Good Luck!!!

First of all your English needs improving. Don't learn Latin, it's no use whatsoever in the business world, only good for medicine really. I'm learning Mandarin Chinese which is great, but if you're already knowledgeable in Japanese, then I'd persue that. If not, I'd go for arabic but I know people who do business/economics with Chinese and they're nowhere near as good as those of us who do Chinese with other languages.

Mandarin Chineese might be easier for YOU since you have already learned Japanese, They have the same language origin. Also, it is the most widely spoken language.

But Russian or Arabic would pose more of a challenge, and open you up to new language origins.

Don't go with French, it's too similar to English and Spanish.

I would suggest a go at German -
With the Spanish you already have a romance language, and with the Japanese you can gather basic concepts from Chinese writing.
The German will give you a good base in the other major European group of languages, and then the one ofter that can be Arabic.

Mandarin is really helpful since so many people speak the language. It's also really good if you want to go into business or as an interpreter for companies or something like that! Also, if you know the Japanese Kanji, that should help with Chinese

If you want to advance your business career, Chinese Mandarin will be the best bet.

Russia, Middle East, France, and Germany have higher percentage of people who can speak English fluently than China, I believe.

However, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese are not same origin, although we use same characters sometimes, so I don't think it will be easy. Mandarin's pronunciation is very difficult, so good luck!

I think the german is the best choice. It is very difficult to learn it without a teacher, instead. Suppose you are from Spain!
For the future, i think is good to know Chinese. I bet on this nation...in the next 20 years we all learn chinese...:) if u want my opinion :)

I speak English and Spanish and if I had to pick a next one to learn from your list, I guess it would be French or German. I'm half German so I'd learn it for that reason...but French would probably be most helpful in your career.
