Homemade Poultry Seasoning

1 ounce, approximately
5 min 5 min prep

2 teaspoons ground sage
1 1/2 teaspoons ground thyme
1 teaspoon ground marjoram
3/4 teaspoon ground rosemary
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon finely ground black pepper

Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Store in a clean used spice bottle.
tightly covered.

Poultry Seasoning

Homemade poultry seasoning

1-6 servings
5 min 5 min prep

4 tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon ground sage
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1 bay leaf
1 dash nutmeg

You can put sage, thyme and bay leaf in a coffee grinder and make into powder.
Mix with other ingredients.
Store in a jar, and use as needed.

Seasoned Salt

Recipe for seasoned salt with salt, thyme, garlic salt, onion powder, and other herbs and seasonings.

INGREDIENTS:
6 tablespoons salt
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt or garlic powder
2 1/4 teaspoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 teaspoon celery salt

PREPARATION:
Put all ingredients into a mini food processor or small blender container and blend on low.

Here's an easy homemade poultry seasoning for stuffings, casseroles, stews, and other recipes.
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 teaspoon sage, crumbled
1/4 teaspoon leaf thyme, crumbled
1/4 teaspoon pepper
dash marjoram
dash cloves, optional
PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients. If you make extra, store in an airtight container.
Use for poultry stuffing or dressing, as a rub for chicken, or as seasoning for other dishes.

you should just go buy some more. it's like $3 for a tin of it, and it will last for years :)
