Cardio is the best way to go when you want to lose weight. Use an elliptical or jog outside for 30 minutes, if possible, twice a day, every 2 days. Spread your meals out to 5 meals with smaller quantities, and don't eat 4 hours before going to sleep at night. Breakfast is the most important meal, and make sure it's loaded with protein, since protein breakdown helps out in weightloss. How much protein do you need to take? For weightloss goals, .75 grams per lb. So if you weigh 150, consume 112.5 g of protein/day. Spread into 5 meals? 22.5 g of protein
Keep in mind that the faster you lose weight, the less time your body has to adjust (especially your skin), so try doing some toning workouts like crunches and pushups.

First of all, you must really have the will power to lose weight. Second, never go into a diet mind set that telling yourself that you have to "starve" to lose weight, this isn't true. Now, to effectively lose weight without under eating you should gradually cut back on calories throughout the week and even during the day. For instance: lunch may consist of a sandwich and a bag of chips, an easy way to cut calories is to replace chips with maybe baked chips or carrots. You could also not put mayo on your sandwich or not put any cheese. This will significantly cut calories out of a meal and if you do this every time you eat, you can cut around 500-800 calories a day. Drink a ton of water, maybe a gallon a day if you can. Drink a very icy cold glass of water quickly before eating. You may not eat as much being full of water. Remember that 3500 calories= one pound gained or lost.

I lost 24 pounds 2
pounds a week with a low fat,low carb no-starch diet using Weight
Watcher Points. I walked an hour a day and only ate at meals. At meals i ate until full but I ate a lot of vegetables especially lettuce and drank alot of water.
The best execise is the exercise that you will habitually do . I like calorie-burning things like jogging which i can now only do on a tread mill holding on to the bars because of ankle problems. Walking with friends helps because they call me to accountability.
Over the winter I gained a good bit of the weight back( I went off the loss diet when i got to my goal),but i am loosing again a little at a time.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

You shouldnt be looking for quick fixes and ways to drop X amount of weight as fast as possible. It's not healthy! However, the fasted way I believe is to combine a fruit+veg only diet with daily cardio, throw in some muscle building if you want. Lots of water as well!

Don't starve yourself but dieting will help a ton. For straight weight loss running and different forms of cardo will help you lose weight. Now if you want to burn a lot of fat and look good, weight training will really help you. You might not lose straight lbs. right away but your metabolism will increase and you'll notice your body fat will go down a lot.
A lot of women think that using weights will cause them to bulk up. In reality, it takes years to get really big. It's much easier to burn fat than to gain lots of muscle. Weight training will help you burn tons of fat and if you are worried about looking to bulky you can always go for more reps at lighter weight.
www.nutritiondata.com is a good source for nutrion info and contains a lot of info on everyday foods, so you can look at what you're really eating.
Also sleep is often overlooked. Try to get 8 hrs of sleep a night.

Hi,
Dont listen to wildwood face, it's not healthy at all to starve yourself although I've tried it. To loose weight, try to run at least 20 mins a day, eat healthy; vegetables and fruits , without eating betweem meals of course, drink lots of water. Water will eliminate toxines and cellulite.
Whatever you do, do not starve yourself. The weight you loose by not eating anything will be very easy to gain back again. The more time you take to loose weight, the harder it will be to gain it back, so trust me take your time, don't cheat, and do lots of sports. Also one more thing, you have to sweat a lot to burn calories.
