Noah replaced into the only guy or woman that accompanied God without question. An occasion of this may be the Ark, why build an ark interior the path of the desolate tract? additionally, the folk interior the close to-via villages, why waste time attacking a loopy guy that hears voices from an invisible guy interior the sky that advised him to construct a brilliant boat interior the path of the desolate tract because of the fact of a flood. Get the p.c.?

Remember, in every culture or civilization past and present, there is references to a great flood. If you take the time to actually study the mythology and where the stories or books in the bible are based upon, you will see that what is currently taught as fact has many discrepancies. The bible, in it's current incarnation was written by man, not God or who we think of as God. Read the book of Genesis and you can only arrive at one conclusion, either God is a schizophrenic or there were in fact two separate Lords with diametrical opposed positions.

People from many different areas knew about Noah building the ark. They questioned him the whole time it took to build it. It was not done in secret and it would be very difficult to miss something that big being built. If people chose not to believe what Noah told them about God then they are responsible for their or decision.

Yes, He did kill them. He's God. He can take back the life that He gave them if He chooses. God has no obligation to keep you alive. You're a sinner. You only remain alive as long as God is gracious enough to keep you alive and we are only saved from hell by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Noah also found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Genesis 6, I believe). That's why God kept him alive. As far as what's fair, our notions of fair are always more subjective than God's notions because we can't see the whole picture like He can.

In Genesis 6:5-8 explains it. God saw the badness of men in Noah's time, and he felt hurt at his heart. So God Jehovah decided to wipe off men who are ungodly. But Noah found favor in God's eyes. So he commanded Noah to build an Ark for him and his family. But God does not desire men to be destroyed but to repent, that is why he commanded Noah to tell people of the Great Flood God will bring up on the earth so they will repent on their sins. But no one believed him, instead, they laugh at him thinking he's insane. And that is how Noah and his family stayed alive, by obeying what God told them to do.
Same as in our days. You may see many people are ungodly. Do you think God would not do anything to cut off again these people? How about people who found favor in Jehovah's eyes? Are there still people like them now? And if so, do they also warn people about the event in the Bible called Armageddon? Find time to study the Bible and I'm sure all your doubts and questions will be answered with satisfaction. Try this site:

A hateful god does not deserve to be praised, it should be despised. This includes gods of other names, such as allah.
How can anyone take the bible, or worse, the koran, literally? These are stories. They were written by men to control men.
There was no world wide flood. Many rivers flooded in the past, like they do today. Study geology, that is if your preacher lets you.

God had Noah build the ark because he was the only righteous person left on earth, along with his family.

No, God told Noah to because he trusted him, not by his boat-building ability.
Like, if God was going to flood the earth again, who do you think he'd choose to build an ark, a Christian or an Atheist?

It says in the bible that Noah was a good man while the rest were evil. Thats how he chose. Also, God created them so he could easily take them away.

OK..God didnt save only Noah and his family because they built the best boats =] He saved them because they were the only humans left that stayed faithful to Him and obeyed His laws. The bible says that all other humans were immensely sinful apart from Noah and his family.
God bless
