I recently downloaded a big file ( about 600 MB in size) from rapidshare. All are in RAR format and they all have the file with the same name in it ( all are BIN files)..i dont know how to install the program, should i join all those files together and if so how can i get around this??

Use AlZip to open the .rar file. Then unzip the .bin file somewhere. The many .rar files are the .bin file split up into smaller chunks.

RAR files are inteded to be opened with a program called WinRAR. Get it at www.rarlabs.com

I'm assuming its something like
file.r01
file.r02
file.r03
...
file.rar
What you need to do is install winRAR and unrar ONLY file.rar. It will figure everything out by itself.
