I think that the only way to get it to stop growing back darker and courser would to get it waxed. this will make it not so dark , but it will grow back but it takes a while.

Shaving did not cause your upper lip hair to grow back dark. It seems darker because it is stubbly.

Let the hairs grow in a bit & go to a salon to have your upper lip waxed. Waxing will remove the hair at the root so it won't grow back stubbly. With repeated waxing, the root becomes weaker and the hair grows back finer.

The other option is to use a depilatory designed for the face. I don't recommend bleaching at this point because you will just have blond stubble.

In some areas threading is available and is a good alternative to waxing. For more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threading_%28epilation%29

Shavingggg...ahh horrible decision. been there, done that. lmao. but you could try waxing. But they'll continue to grow in thicker. You could try plucking with tweezers but that's a pain in the ***. Or the latest rage is painless threading. It was a big Asian trend, and it's becoming popular in the states also. That's one of your best bets seeing as though its quite inexpensive. However, if you just want to conceal the hairs as if they really dont exist, meaning you dont have to do much you could just bleach them. That's also inexpensive and gives the illusion you have no facial hair. It'll also doesn't make your hairs grow in any thicker or darker. Depilatory creams are your next option, those are just chemicals that will remove the hair from the follicle. You can pick those up pretty much anywhere, Walgreens, CVS, Brooks, Walmart. Really any of those kind of stores. Also inexpensive. Based upon this, you can make your choice. You have quite a few options. Good luck mamaz :]

If your parents agree, have a consultation with a dermatologist. It can be lasered off permanently. I don't know the costs, and insurance may not cover it because it is cosmetic rather than medical. My friend had this done - she had to use an at-home hair dye the night before her laser appt. to make the hair black and easier to target. That was 6 years ago and she is still happy with the results.

Thats what happens when you shave. If you really dotn want it to come back you might think about electrolisis but you're too young. Try soem wax i guess, or pluck the hairs.

if you are a girl-shaving that was a baddd idea. wax it or use hair removal cream

if you are a boy-you can wax it or use hair removal cream too, but i suggest you just keep shaving it like a man.

Well you started something that you will have to continue, have it waxed. The only way to get rid of it is electrolysis. Which is expensive way to remove the hair totally
