Well, your skin got irritated and you must now sooth it with a lotion and give it time. I mean, you've just zapped yourself with electricity, wouldn't YOU be annoyed if you were your skin? Wait.... uuhm.
I would recommend a Aloe Vera based gel or lotion... excellent stuff ! (and its native from Southern Europe :)
