My aunt is 45 years old. She has been suffering from a chronic Gas trouble since last 4-5 years. She completely avoids Oily and Spicy food. But it does not seem to be of any help.
My aunt feels suffocated and totally helpless when the Gas gets accumulated in her abdomen.
She is recently detected with a Kidney Stone but doctors are saying that Kidney stones do not cause Gas trouble. I here by ask you, are these two matters linked?
I also would like to mention that her uterus had been removed as it developed a fibroid which caused unstoppable blood loss. Please advice.

I think she is suffering from hyperacidity/dyspepsia.

You would have a pain that would knock you to your feet. You would not be able to stand it. You would go either to the emergency room or your Dr. They would do either a CT scan or MRI and they would find the stones if you had any. They would put you on pain medicine and give you a little screen you would urinate in for the next few days to see if you would pass the stones (which really truly hurts). If you do not pass the stones you have to have surgery or have them blasted by sonic waves. Mine passed and I cannot decide which was worse, passing kidney stones or having my Son naturally and he was over 10 pounds. Passing those three small stones was truly, truly, truly painful!!!!

However, when I was about 49, I had severe gas. I went to a the doctor. She sent me to a specialist. For me, the cause was lactose-intolerance. In other words, I was no longer producing enough enzyme to break down milk sugars and dairy products.
Was I relieved to find all I had to do was buy lactaid enzyme (available in any grocery store) and take a chewable tablet (it tastes good!) everytime I had anything with dairy in it (including all cheese except aged cheese).
Since this is a common condition developing in a good percentage of the population as they age, I'm hoping your aunt's problem is as simple as mine was.
But you are not going to know until you have her see a gastroenterologist (specializing in diseases/conditions of the stomach/intestines/colon).
