Surely there has got to be something more sophisticated, intelligent and more empathetic than human beings in our Universe.
We humans who think we are so sophisticated are probably the laughing stock of the universe with all our wars, focus on the material, maltreatment of eachother and the environment in which we live, including the life forms on which we feed, and reliance on a falsely inflated dollar...

I walk around my town and read the newspaper and browse Yahoo! Answers for an hour, and I sincerely hope that there exists higher lifeforms more intelligent than humans in the universe.
A person can be smart. But people are ******* idiots.

Humans are stupid. A mountain is a higher lifeform and more intelligent as is just about anything else.

Aliens? No. There's far more evidence for God and intelligent design thru science than aliens!
Why assume other possible life forms outside of earth MUST be more intelligent? If there has been life on earth for millions/billions of years (by evolutionist thinking), dontcha think a higher life form would have found our planet and exploited it way before now??
Another good question is why is it that people assume forms of life, if there are any, outside earth are MORE intelligent by default, but people of other nationalities whose language and culture they don't understand are stupider than they by default??

How can there be? If it's not in the Bible, it doesn't exist. Don't you know that? God created men to be the rulers of the universe, so there is nothing else out there capable of greater intelligence than us. We are meant to bring peace to this universe in god's name by using whatever force necessary. To even suggest otherwise is ridi...oh wait, I believe there is no god. Strike all of that nonsense I said previously. I certainly believe in the possibility of other intelligent life outside the confines of our little planet.

Most likely not. It is improbable that there is other life, let alone intelligent life. The universe is finite, and we are exploring more and more of it as time goes on. So far nothing, and with more knowledge we are realizing how unlikely it was that life ever came about.

Why not? I believe in the possibility anyway, I have no evidence for such but when you look at the billions of stars and planets out there it's highly likely there are other lifeforms and some may be more intelligent than we are.

I can not but help and say that there are more intelligent higher life forms in the universe. They are
Angels, Satan and his imps, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Those are who.

Yes, many.
For example, TREES!
Trees have learned how to live peacefully in the world.
They don't kill to survive.
They clean up pollution instead of creating it.
They support thousands of other species, both during their life and after their death.
Can you picture humans ever developing to that level?
It's something to aspire to, anyway.

We haven't looked for life in the universe! We've sent a robot to one spot on one planet (Mars) -- that's it. And the universe is big. Really really really big.
As for trees, they're intelligent enough (even without brains) to do and be everything they need to do and be. That's not so dumb.
