Not that I care, my grades are good, but do potential employers ever ask you for your college transcripts, or if you never went to college, your high school transcripts? Thanks.

At places I've interviewed at, some do, some don't. I was never asked on the spot to produce such documentation, but always carry a copy of my unoffical transcripts with me, just in case. If they do ask for them, it is usually something they want mailed to them directly from the school in a sealed envelope (majority of schools provide this service). Grades aren't usually what they look for. From my experience, they are just verifying that you received your degree, have taken specific courses, etc.

It depends. I was not asked for mine as the interview process, but a few places told me that if I accepted their offer, I'd have to provide a transcript. It was to verify grades and G.P.A. A background check will tell you if you have a degree, and which school its from.

Only once did I have to prove that I took Chemistry, Physics, and Algebra in high school. If you have a copy of your college transcripts I would offer them if they wanted, if you are hired I would make sure they are in my personal file, in the event of any promotions. It looks good.

Sometimes, it depends on the position and the depth that the interviewers want to dive into your background. Right out of college they are more interested in your fit for the position and company culture as well as your skills and education.

Good luck!

No one has ever asked me for mine. And I've been in the workplace for well over 20 years.

I've never asked for one when hiring someone in, either.
