why do men lie?

So I dont offend any men out there, let me rephrase the question:

WHY DO SOME MEN OR AT LEAST ALL THE ONES I KNOW LIE AND PLAY U!

why do SOMEEEEEEE MEN SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR BUT THEY ARE SAYING THE SAME S H I T TO TEN OTHER GIRLS!

Because otherwise you would get to thear the truth about your insecurities: Yes, you do have a big butt, yes, you have put on loads of weight, yes, I do know why - you eat loads of junk food all the time, and moan at me because I take care of myself. Yes I do go to the gym, so that I can attract other women - it's a primal thing - not so that 'I can feel good in myself' - what a whopper that is....given the opportunity - I will come in your mouth, the cheque isn't in the post - oh, and the corker of all, or almost all..no, I don't think your best mate is cuter than you, and I really do love you!!!

Most men lie in a date to impress a girl or if have a lot of dates or married to hide that fact.

If you want somebody who do not lie to you, you must be sure to give him trust, but beware to some people who try to use you, if you show you weak. There is always that type of men, as i was once.

For that matter, if you search for men only to have a summer flirt or similar short term relationship probably found liars. Why? Most men, even when they say they do not, likes a long term relationship, so when against that truth they lies to themselves. So from lie to yourself to lie to others there is a very short step.

We lie just as much as the person next to us. We tend to do it more because it might be in our nature. We also tend to bend the truth alot more or even like to show off a bit too much. With that in mind we also lie to women, not talking about cheating. But we tend to not tell you things that might hurt you like how many girlfriends we have had or we are going to do something for my mom when we are actually hanging out with the boys or friends. It's just weird that way.

Sometimes they don't really mean it. I think if men lies they do this not to hurt us. But you should admit that woman also lies.We cannot always throw stones to them......

The same reason everyone else lies, so you don't know the truth. I've heard several reasons from guys thou, that they didn't want to hurt you, or they thought you were going to get mad, or you wouldn't understand or to protect you. So really they lie to cover up whatever wrong they know or did... But lying is human nature women lie too!!!

Sorry hun but women are guilty of that too, not just men. That is a question that nobody really knows the answer to except those men. My best guess would be that they can't settle down and feel as if they don't want to be tied down to just one women.

I think that everyone at one point lies. Both male and female. Woman are not on a pedestal we are just as human and lie just the same. Bad question to ask.
