~In the beginning there was nothing. And then suddenly for no reason nothing eexploded and created everything. YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT??
~At some point, by chance the right chemicals happened to float together at just the right moment to be struck by an electrial charge and become life. YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT??
~Somewhere two non-human mothers each gave birth to a human child. They were born at the same time and in the same place, one was male and one was female. These two new "humans" gave birth to the human race. YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT??
~One of the descendants of these first humans was born with a knowledge of right and wrong. No longer driven by instinct, this person suddenly was making decisions based on a morality for which there is no real explanation. YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT??

~I'm sorry. I don't have that much blind faith. It's al just to farfetched to be anything more than a fairy tale. I can't beleive intelligent people claim it is "science" (CF 1 Timothy 6:20)
~"The the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). I can beleive that without stretching my imaginiation into the realm of the impossible. The universe was created by an all-powerful, all-knowing God. THAT I CAN BELIEVE!!

For those of you who have answered I would like to know why you think we evolved from nothing? Can you give me evidence to back up your claim that we evolved instead of God creating us?
Also about the whole thing about evidence that Jesus Christ rose from the dead there is plenty, you just got to do some research.
But I love the answers and by the way I don't drink!! But thanks!! :0)

Very primitive and stupid assumption that everything fall exactly the way it is to support us. Where did u get that?
We are the product the way universe became. If it will fall anyotherwise we could be much mroe different or not even be here.
Universe was not made for us, we are the product the way things happened.
And you probably want us to belive that for etherinity into the pass there was nothing and poor old men ( god) was sitting in all that nothing for etrnity till his immutable state decide... Well its time for me to do something and than out of nothing he create something. WOw. much better explanation.
SO since u belive that some1 had to be there to create than who create that some1 to begin with? saying he was for ever means you have no idea what you saying.
Atheist belive big bang, religous belive god but its all come's to the same-begining of all beginnings and we will never know the answer. Imagine for a second that god exists and he will tell you that he existed for ever... Its only him who would say so but there is no prove that's the way it is.

Wow, you have a ton of "pulpit science" and not a drop of real stuff
FYI - NO SCIENTIST says life came from nothing, they just say "we don't know where the energy came from to start the big bang. Why don't they know? Because science is in it's infancy when it comes to exploring the universe, it's something that's only been studied since 20th century.
Science doesn't claim to have all the answers, science is the pursuit of answers. They didn't have any idea how to perform heart surgery a hundred years ago but look at the medical sciences now.
But you can believe a being, who is much, much greater than anything you've mentioned has "always existed"?
That is much more far fetched. How can anything always exist?
How can something - and especially something with the power of your god - always exist.
Logically, that is much more of a stretch and in no way can it be proven

There was no beginning, everything always was. yes there was a big explosion of the right chemicals. think about it, if the universe ALWAYS was then there was plenty of time to explode the wrong things or explode the right ones at the wrong time. Evolution is happening right before your eyes, read Darwin's works. you are a tad mislead when you said that there were only two humans who gave birth to the human race, we evolved and adapted as a race from a more primitive species. humans can have morals, becasue they do. YES I EXPECT YOU TO BELIEVE ALL OF THIS.
do you expect me to believe that some bearded man in the sky decided he was bored and kinda lonely so he snapped his fingers and POOF! there we all were?

"In the beginning there was nothing..." - well I don't believe the big bang either
"...the right chemicals happened to float together..." - i think the theory you are referring to makes sense, but you need to rephrase it.
"...these two new humans gave birth to the human race..." - no it did not happen like that. humanoids changed over time.
"...born with a knowledge of right and wrong. no longer driven by instinct..." - i think that our so-called knowledge of right and wrong is based on pure instinct. different cultures have different views on right and wrong because their collective instinct has evolved to fit their environment.
i really dont expect you to believe anything. i am just giving you some of my thoughts on the subject. hope this helps!

That's what gets me. That they cannot understand the concept of faith. Most of these people in here have not done all of the scientific research and experimentation that it takes to make a relevent case for Evolution. But they choose to accept the followings of OTHER PEOPLE who did the work for them and that just seems more logical? FAITH IS FAITH. You are trusting that somehow existance came from nothing. We Christians are trusting that God created everything.

There was an interesting article in Discover Magazine about the possibility of a multi-dimensional big bang.
Not to mention... that if in the beginning there truly was nothing, then there was no God either.

Not a very Christian way to express your beliefs. No one likes being patronized. You won't get anywhere like that.
This is the equivalent of shouting at someone. The person would just walk away.

Instead of thinking about a myth that may or may have not happened, think about how you can contribute to society and find happiness in your life.
Bible is chuck full of great stories. So is the reader's digest.

No worries. There's no scientist on the planet who'd expect you to believe ANY of the things you've said.
Every single thing you've said has been a total misrepresentation of the theories you are mocking.
So, in your ignorance you settle for 'goddidit'. Suit yourself, your intellectual quality (or lack thereof) is ultimately not my problem.
