I was shooting my slingshot into a tree where there where starlings and then one "flew" away but actually glided to the ground and when i went to pick it up it glided to my neighbors junk yard where i caught it. I threw it up into the air but it again glided. Then when I threw it up again it flew to another tree with flapping it wings. I examined it and didn't see anything wrong. Do you think it will be okay? what's your view on this

You are doomed as a animal killer.

I can relate to your feelings,as this morning i accidentally killed a butterfly and a big green bug thing that came in contact with the windshield of my bicycle.

Starlings are an invasive species. If it dies, you are helping less advantaged, native wildlife, however, I doubt that it will. There is a reason these birds are so prevalent. They are pretty hardy.

Make it a point to NOT hurt or kill an animal unless for food, or to protect yourself or someone else. Slingshot, bow and arrow or firearm. it's all the same.

BABY KILLER!!!!!!!!! You belong in Jail!

What did that poor defenseless starling do to you! You have killed it and quite possibly changed the fabric of time. in one hundred years all of our children will now have bald heads or something just because you shot a bird! GAAAAAH!
