Can we see god?How/Why?

Yes .since god is true and is a fact , you can always see god .You are in god and god is in you.
If you want to see god , you must know what god is. there are millions of men in this world . If some one who does not know his father or has not seen his father , wants to see his father , how would you describe him? Just that he is a man? There are millions of men and one among them will be his father .So you must give him some specific details to enable him to distinguish his father among the millions .is it not ? Here I am saying this to make it clear that when you aks for a view of god , you must know what god is and what you expect god to be ?
Evey religion speaks about god and speak about the qualities of god .It is just like that if you do not believe in him , you would be punished or sent to thell.It is just like saing that if you stare at somebody ,he would be angry.with you. Every man in the street also does it and this would not be specific character that would help you identify god .
The Question you have asked here would be considered to be blasphumous by some religions .
But the same question was asked by Arjuna , with Lord krishna who was considered to be god's Avataar.
Arjuna asked him what god was like and wanted Krishna to show him the totality of god .krsihna told him that not even the vedas and no gods could see the totality of god .But , since Arjuna was his favourite , he would give him a divine to eye to see the totality of god .The divine eye , he meant was the eye of Gyana ,(Wisdom) the eye of wisdom.So saying , he showed him in his gyana,* wisdom) the viswaroopa ( the image of the cosmos ). The cosmos is the only absolute thing in this universe .The cosmos is the one that sustins all the universes and the world and all that lies in it .It is boundless . It has no beginning and no end as only those which have a beginning can have an end .Even through the eye of wisdom Arjuna was not able to see the full view of god as the total view of the cosmos , the space, is impossible and it is infinity -. that is the singularity of the space .It is a being and a non -being .Space is emptimness - void - vacuum.but we say that there is space .We say that "IT IS" SPACE -when actually it is nothing . What is not and what is not a thing , we say "it is".
The fact is that if it is not there as void , nothing could exist .But for the emptiness , the vacant space where will we exist , or where will anything exist ? . So the emptiness sustains things .It is because it is emptiness -void and noithing , It has not boundary.Anything if it is a thing should necessarily have boundaries ,will have boundaries .Space being "NOTHING 'need have no boundary and shape .But everything that has boundaries and shape should have some space to exist in .That is the special character of the space .
It is because of this that the colour of all gods in the Hindu
pantheon is dark or blue .The space is neither burned by fire or wetted by water . It is neither cut by anything . but for it things cannot move. It is never divided by anythjing ; .but things stand divided in it .
See What Lord krishna had to say in'Bhagavad gita while showing Arjuna his viswaroopa :

"learn that this is the womb
of all creatures ;
I am the source of all the universe,
just as I am its dissolution"...verse 6of 7Th teachg .

"Nothing is higher than I am,
Arjuna , all that exists
is woven on me ,
like a web of pearls on thread"...verse7 of 7Th teaching


" All this universe , deluded
by the qualities inherent in nature
fails to know that I am
beyond them and unchanging" .verse 8 of 7Th
teaching

"The whole universe is pervaded
by my unmanifest form;
all creatures exist in me
but I do not exist in them"...erse 4 of 9th teaching .

I am the heat that withholds
and sends down the rains;
I am immorality and death
BOTH BEING AND NON-BEING AM I"...verse 19 of 9th teaching .

"Arjuna I am the seed
of all creatures;
nothing animate or inanimate
could exist without me "...verse 39 of 10Th teaching
Sanjaya says :
"Arjuna saw all the universe
in its many ways and parts
standing as one in the body
of god of gods."..verse.13 of 11Th teaching .

"Neither sun nor moon
nor fire illumines
my highest abode ---
once tehre they do nt return"..verse 6 of 15Th teaching .

"It cannot be cut or burned
it cannot be wet or withered
it is enduring , all pervasive ,
fixed , immovable and timeless".. verse 24 of 2nd teaching

There is much more about it .
all that yu see around yu is god /pat of god .he whole cosmos including all theunerses in oit is one grand picture of god .which one would you say specifically as god ?all that is in the copsmos is like the pixels in a single picture .All he pixels together make the picture and not any single one does make it .All of them together make one picture of god .You are yourself a pixel in the picture of god .So are all the poixels .god is omnipresnece and sothe Hindu sees God in everything .
for this reason , the Hindu belives that he is never out of sight of god and god is never out of sight to him too..you cannot fail to see god because HE is verything around you.

Not face to face or we die. (Exodus 33:20) The next paragraph of Exodus has Moses behind a boulder and looking through a crack at God's back. Even that had an effect.

We can see God in the things He has done. Like an artist can be known by his brushstrokes and style, God is evident in His creations.

alright heres the thing. God is a Sovereign being, being pure of all evil He cannot look at evil and evil cannot look upon Him. And since we are all born with evil we cannot look at God. However because jesus died and washed us of evil we can see his interventions, manifestations, and revelations. sounds confusing but thats how he rolls. and Yes God is real and no he is not an assumption created by fear of humans. ppl who say God isnt real are trying to belive there are no consequences and rules to their life and that they are their own masters and if they have a God they wouldnt have that control. thus somes atheism, evoulution and the big bang.

to be clear when i say you cant see God i mean u cant see Him with your own two eyes physically

no you cannot se God, because he is too holy to be seen with human eyes. Only few people have seen God, and they didnt even see his face. Moses was one of them. You can talk to God through praying.

you can't see GOD, GOD is not human physical form.., as you can assume.

God is similar.... you cannot see him, but only feel his presence.
There is proof of his presence, because cn you explain life, can you explain universe... there are plenty of other things we cannot define or explain these are all works of God... you just need faith to feel His presence.
