They don't cry like girls, they squeal like pigs. Soleil Noir has the right answer, though.

First of all I don't really know how to answer that question because I am a christian and don't cry like a girl, so . . . ?

But I'll attempt to address what you are actually curious about: Christians are secure in their religion as in they know that Jesus is our savior and he died for our sins, etc. - The Gospel is emphasized as the most important part of being a Christian. But if you noticed the Bible is a lot bigger than that, and it is not a requirement to read all the Bible before you become a Christian, I would say the majority of people start reading the Bible after they become Christians. The point is that we can be confident in who our God is without having to know the answers to all the questions in the world - it is a continual education and growth. It is like a student studying to become something - they don't know all the answers yet so you can't write them off as worthless if they can't answer one of your questions.

If people are crying when you talk to them I'm gonna have to assume you are talking to teenage girls and asking them things like "If God is a loving God then why do people die?" If you have a real question you want answered or want to have a real debate I would suggest asking someone that's not relatively 'new' to Christianity and have had years experiencing it and life - so at least someone that's not still a teenager. If you were in class and had a question that you really wanted answered would you ask one of your classmates or the teacher?

Ok Chris I am a girl and just so you know I am not a cry baby if that's what you mean about crying like girl we all cry the same you know water known as tears fall out of our eyes everybody...anyways I am also a Christian and if someone proves me wrong they have to explain their reasoning because usually if I am saying something from the Bible I usually know what I am talking about but sometimes I make mistakes like everyone and if I do I apologize not cry...smiles

My friend I have been a born again christian since 1979. You don't see me crying. I rejoice in the Lord every week and pray daily. I am sadden only by those who have darkened their heart toward the Creator of all life. The fool has said in his heart there is no God. Someone will be crying when the Lord appears from heaven to save the redeem. It surely won't be those who have accepted Christ as their personal Savior from sin until salvation. Read Romans 10:9.

So you regularly prove Christians wrong and make them cry like girls - what tosh. You can't prove Christianity is wrong just as they can't prove it is right. So can't see how you can have made anyone cry.

More flamethrower language. Dude, that's all you Atheists know. First, when did you prove anything "wrong", and when did I cry? I won't even comment on the sexist phrase you added at the end. (cry like a girl). I get these angry little e-mails from you guys all the time with the terms brainwashed, ignorant, stupid, uneducated being directed at me. The atheist hypocrisy is amazing sometimes.

wheres the evidence?

It makes me laugh when my bf gets in a political debate with the preachers in town. The usual convo goes like this:

Preacher (P): You are Gods child. He loves us all you know...
Boyfriend (B): Well if we we're a child of God, why does he let his children go through so much pain and anguish? Why are there wars and starvation and so on?
P: Thats the work of the devil. That is not Gods fault.
B: So are you saying that God cannot control what the devil does?
P: Yes
B: So basically you are saying that the devil is stonger than God?
P: Erm, erm.....

So very funny lol. (by the way, my boyfriend only does this to people who try and force christianity onto him. Hes not just evil and has nothing against christians lol!)

I've never had the experience of being proved wrong about God. I have had the experience of someone attempting to bully me to the point of tears then claiming they've proved me wrong. Perhaps, considering the tone of your questions, the latter is more likely.

This is a foolish quesiton written to arouse the masses. There is NO way to prove anything in religion..that is why it is called faith. I have no use for it, but others have an actual need for it..so be it. I see no reason to argue with a person who has faith in something, nor do I see a reason for them to try to convert me. As long as they respect my wishes, we get along just fine. BUT...the instant I get the "you are a lost......" , the conversation either ends there, or I walk away.

You need to read this book written by an atheist scientist turned Christian;-)

'The Dawkins Delusion?' by Alister McGrath and Joanna Collicutt McGrath. ISBN 978-0-281-05927-0 (SPCK)

Foreword by Michael Ruse, Professor of Philosophy, Florida State University. "The God Delusion (Stephen Hawkins) makes me embarrassed to be an atheist, and the McGraths show why."

Enjoy;-)

Christian who has yet to hear ANY proof otherwise... but has endless PERSONAL proof of God's existence... and is lucky to be alive to share it with you due to miraculous intervention many times inside my life:-)
