I would rather burn with the people I love from here on earth than have amnesia in heaven. I love my family so much, I would would want to give them comfort while they are tortured for having premarital sex and telling dirty jokes. I couldn't stand to be within a mile of the god that would burn my loved ones. I would get kicked out of heaven for trying to start a revolt against the brutal tyrant.

I could see how that kind of conclusion could be drawn in that the children are neglected the love of one gender or another because that person isn't there; generally it's the father-son relationship that is in question. However, I've never read a study with conclusive proof. All I know is that clearly, the best environment to raise a child is in a home with both a present father and present mother, ideally who are married. Anything outside of that realm tends to create additional problems to the present ones. That's the ideal, and many families are far from the ideal but still do the best they can. I don't think anyone can conclusively prove the "cause" of homosexuality. After all, people claiming it's genetic would have their proof in several sets of homosexual identical twins, and I've never heard of that, have you? Whether it's nature or nurture remains a huge mystery of the universe.

Just by chance that there is a heaven, I plan to meet with my ancestors and have a glorious re-union.
If there isn't, then what in the hell have I got to lose.
I'll just be dead and one day rot in my grave.
But what if by some slim chance there is a heaven?
I will have tried to be honest when dealing with mankind and I will live with good memories in my old age.
When your 72 like I am, all you have is your memories.
I wake up every morning and look out side and I can say, " I love life'.
The reason I can do that is because I have always looked at life in a positive way.
I'm wondering if Atheist's look at life in a negative way?
What do you think about the last statement?
I would like to hear some thing positive from you.
With out a doubt I can live with your belief and I would wish that you can be tolerant enough to live with my beliefs.
I am content and have no fear of dieing.
I pity those who have a fear of dieing because those who do make a permanent trail to the Dr., for fear they might die.
I have lived a good life, and I'm content to have this world stop long enough to let me off, any time in the near future.
I like your question. You gave me a lot to think about in a positive was.
I won't say bless you but I wish for you a good happy life till the end of time.
By the way, there may be a Hell but I don't think it's on fire.

Terrible question, and I'm not even a believer.
Do you believe things out of convenience? If you do, you're no better than the ones you're pursuing with this question. If you don't, then you should see why asking this is pointless.
Whether people suffer for eternity or are just removed from existence (people argue for both), the idea is that, after death, people will see each other as equals, just as they are equal before God. This abolishes the concept of family, which doesn't make sense anyway because being related to someone does not mean you care about him. It is a matter of growing up with people and getting to know them, so you might say that your family is no different than anyone else would be if you were thrown into the same situation.
Worldly attachments will be lost to make way for universal love.
That's the idea, anyway, but a loving God wouldn't throw anyone into Hell. That's why I would believe that God simply ends the existence of a non-believer... if I thought Christianity were worthwhile.

attachments and bonds are formed from associations and shared common interests .
It is often the practice of groups to exclude those who do not profit the group or add value in some manner .
Do orphans and those who's parents pass away while they are young suffer greatly or do they overcome the loss to form new attachments .
As we can all see adopted children who are never made aware they where adopted never feel the need to search for birth parents and instead adjust quite nicely .
I do not know of any kid who did not ask once learning of others who where adopted if indeed they also where adopted only to hear from parents no of course not because if you where we would of sent you back lol .
They have observed that children deprived of human contact during the early stages of development experience the inability to learn language if not exposed and learned at the proper time .
They resort to eating raw meat and refuse cooked foods . Several cases have been studied and they resemble animal not so called human behavior .
We are nothing more then our shared experience and knowledge that we pass from one generation to the next .
Within these generations for one reason or another exclusive groups ban together and create all manner of rules and societal norms some might find objectionable .
I would consider that forcing a group to stop tossing virgins into the local volcano is wrong . Educate them not to by example .
If you want to live like Pavlov's Dog then by all means do . Rewards and punishments are fine for most animals but man has a much higher potential if not indoctrinated with religion and idiotic politics which only serve to create and maintain a ruling class .
It is true that to win you must divide and conquer , All I wonder is in winning what have you gained or benefited mankind with .
A legacy of misinformation ,indoctrination ,and killing that with out good reason has no benefit . Your killing to spread democracy and Christianity is no better then if not worse then those who see the truth and seek to end Christianity and all forms of religion that require any kind of support beyond simple acknowledgement for the time being that something may have created the universe .
You can not get something from nothing so therefore a great creator must exist .
I see no evidence however of his guidance among men or presence in our company .
If he truly wished to be known an worshiped and is opposed by those who feel no worship is needed then I side with them .
What good is it to create something that is meant to be free if you only wish to control it .
Religion is nothing more then the efforts of a ruling class to control others and the sooner we are rid of it the better . Its a cancer eating away at mans humanity what little we have .

Well first of all there will be three places of question here. Heaven, New Earth, and Hades. Only so many people are going to heaven and the rest to the new earth or hell. If I'm in Heaven and my family is not in heaven as well then I would hope thay were at least on the New Earth and I would be remorseful and very sad if thery were not there.

Here is one of the biggest problems with Christian Doctrine. How are people able to call a being Loving, when he states that he will throw their family and friends into eternal torture for not understanding his will, or believing he exists.
If George Bush told you he was loving, and that he would give you a big house and get lots of money, if you agreed to do exactly what he said. But then told you that your parents or kids weren't following the plan so they would be tortured to death. Would you consider him Loving?
That is God.

To all the people who ducked the question by answering 'we won't remember them' or ' heaven is way different' here is my response to you: These answers make no sense. A person defines themselves on the memories of their relationships to people, reactions to situations in the past, and a minimal idea of how they will deal with situations in the future. If you take any of these things away, you are incomplete especially if you are in a magical kingdom where all questions are answered and there is no pain. Our memories of loved ones shape our very existence and to just 'forget' them is unthinkable. Let us all look to logic and reason and reject the idea of the Biblical idea of the afterlife. I'm not saying there isn't one, I'm just saying that the one the Bible describes is clearly untrue.

In every old generation or civilization, whether being the sun god or the moon god it was always a matter of fear for their submission.
So of course since early times the jewish would translate the wrath of God to our destruction as fire, as hot as the sun. It would have also been convenient for the newly reborn Essenes or Roman Catholic clergy to win adepts of all sorts.
If you say you know Jesus and you believe in the inferno, as stated for the humans, (angels should not concern us), you are knowing the wrong Jesus.
Imaging your wrath, you feel like burning with hate. and there are things you will never forget, you will feel your enemies burning in your wrath. (That is if you really hate) we are not like that, because we are humans. God can hate and it does not affect him.
See while the Antichrist spirit was already in that time saying that Jesus was not the Messiah, the false prophet was also already around there doing his own thing, translating the scriptures with the same meanings as the war making sun lovers.
Besides how long can a human body burn in the fire, forever?
and what is what your spirit is going to feel without flesh?

We will have no recognition of eachother in Heaven. The Bible is very clear on that. One family if you want to look at it that way. As for the lake of fire, it is what we all deserve. Some just choose salvation through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. As soon as yo die in any circumstance regaedless of your earthly choice you will be separated from your family as you currently know it for eternity . Good question.
