I'm looking for a job and recently noticed that the Times-Picayune is looking for newspaper dealerships. Could someone explain to me the details of job and if it's a good pick. Just need some info before I call and seem like an idiot. Thanks. GO SAINTS!

Try nola.com. They are linked. Or look in the phone book.

Perhaps they are just referring to themselves as The Times Picayune Newspaper Dealership company and it was a job they were listing internally? Their online job source is

The job descriptions are usually much more details that what is printed in the printed version of the paper.

Perhaps there are more details there. If not, it cant hurt if they list a number and to call and ask for more information on the position that is offered. Often times ads in the paper themselves are very brief so I think that is expected.

Good Luck! WHO DAT!

If I'm not mistaken, it means they are looking for newspaper carriers to deliver the paper in certain neighborhoods. You must have your own, insured auto, and I think they require a good credit rating. You work as an independent contractor. I'm not sure how getting paid works. You would work in the early morning hours, so it's only part time. Hope this helps you make your decision.
