Yes he does. How? Through his authority and anything available. Through people around you, systems, nature, etc. Whatever is necessary.

I do believe that God answers prayers, but how and when are different for different situations.

I'll give you an example. I met a Muslim gentleman. Fell head over heels in love. We broke up, and I didn't understand it. I thought God sent him to me because I had been through so much in my first marriage, that maybe God was saying, "Okay, that's enough. Here's your reward for finally getting your life straightened out." I had already begun studying Islam so that I could respect his religion, never intending to convert. But while the breakup was happening, I started reading more and more, trying to understand. I found this incredible peace and a trust in God that I had not known before (even though I was a church-going Christian). I asked God to give my friend back to me, but God had other plans. Now my ex-boyfriend is a good friend of mine, but I can see clearly how we didn't need to be together. I really believe Allah sent him into my life to be my messenger to Islam. And my faith is so strong that I am able to teach him and encourage him in his faith.

So I believe that even though the answer may not be what we want it to be--even though we may not be able to see why what we want is not best--God does answer prayers, and if we are patient, then chances are that we will see the lesson or the reasoning in due time.

Allah knows best.

Before we can answer that question, we have to drop the convention of calling God "he".

I think my personal experiences support a yes answer to your question. But it is a very personal application which leaves many unsolved mysteries. Why will everyone die no matter their prayers? Why does rain for the farmer cause hardship for the cyclist?

One answer to the dilemma is that God does not change the natural and scientific laws God created.

If we pray according to His will, God hears us and if we know that He hears us, we have already received what we ask for. God answers prayer according to His will and His power. Sometimes He answers differently to what we'd expect, sometimes we get exactly what we ask for and sometimes He moves miraculously. I have had experiences of many types of answered prayer.

Yes, sometimes in unexpected ways....sometimes through other people, sometimes a well timed comment on the television, sometimes guiding to the right place at the right time, sometimes the answer is no, or not yet, but one must keep an open mind about it, and try not to look too hard for it, or you could miss it by looking too hard in the wrong place....

i believe God does answer prayers. I'm not sure how he does it, but i know that things aren't just a coincidence.
even at times when you pray for something and you think he hasn't answered he really did. he doesn't always give you what you want but what you need.

No. He doesn't answer prayers. Some people are always going to be lucky, and some of them will be religious. It doesn't mean that they received that luck because they were religious.

You got to have faith and really believe, and pray. You should always pray faithfully.Just because you pray for it does not mean you need it,god is the one who knows if you need something.Even if you need,it does not mean he will give it to you.He does things for a reason.Try it,ask him that question for yourself, you will know or feel if your question was answered.
