Any dog that spends a lot of time laying on a hard surface will get calloused elbows!

I guess cause labs spend so much laying around they get them more? But it's perfectly normal.....

Favorite position. What bogs the mind is why only one sole is calloused over the other. They walk with all 4 legs.
Ask a vet. Maybe it is a skin condition.

My boxer got calouses and never even laid on any surface harder than industrial carpeting (with pad underneath). Its just like our heels callousing from walking all day.
