Next time, USE SUNSCREEN !!!!! You can buy aloe vera gel. If you are blistering, a visit to the doctor might be necessary to check out sun poisoning !

Aloe Vera. It's usually found right next to the sun screen. Put some on about every couple hours. Might want to see a doc about the blisters but I don't think they can do anything other than give you cream.

Ouchie is right!

Cool water, perhaps some apple cider vinegar to help take the sting out, and lots of aloe vera gel. And avoid the sun as much as you can until you heal.

the best thing for a sunburn is aloe vera, in a bottle or from a plant. it should even reduce the pealing. you could also use calomine lotion. if you don't have any of those on-hand right now, just mix baking soda and water to make a paste then put it on the burn, it should relive some of the pain.

ALOE. USE sunblock always, when you are out in the sun, the Rays of the sun are more powerful than ever before. Cover yourself up while in the sun, something light or white until your sun burn heals a bit. That way the suns rays will bounce off it's reflection on your light clothing.

NEVER use NOXEMA cream, that hurts even MORE, trust me I am a natural redhead and I burn like a lobster and my mom used to put noxema on my skin after my sunburn and hurt like hell....

Put some Aloe Vera on it. It should help lessen the hurt and cool the burn. Just be careful and try not to touch those areas as much as you normally would.

I hope you feel better soon!

when i used to get sunburns, i would use a cold cream (i.e. Noxema, or Pond's). aloe vera is good, but it only seems to give topical relief. the cold cream seemed to penetrate deeper. also, try an oatmeal bath (aveno) followed by oatmeal cream, especially when you are sleeping. oatmeal will retain the moisture in your skin.....your body in attempts to cool itself and heal the burn brings the moisture to the skins surface.

then too, you may have to visit your doctor to find out the severity of your burns.

let me know if this helps. also check out the site below.

Aloe vera, make sure it does not have any lotion in it. Lotion of any kind, whether part of the Aloe Vera or seperate, will irritate your sunburn more. It will make it dry out. You can rub ice cubes on it to make it feel cooler. Good luck to you.

Ibuprofen or acetaminophen will reduce the swelling a bit and ease the pain. The spray-on stuff (from a can) is better than the stuff you rub on.
