What happens if it is to low?

I am going to have my hemoglobin checked in about an hour, How low would it have to be before drastic measures would be taken? normal would be 11.7 - 15.8 for me. And what are drastic measures for anemia?

Most doctors would transfuse at 8.0. Transfusion is the urgent treatment for anemia/blood loss.
