I still strongly believe that ghosts exist.
However, in the 1800 years that the Bible has been in existence, I've not believed that the Christian God existed. In Victorian times, people were more afraid of the Devil than of God, and they were very afraid of him. So I would say they still believed in the religions more than they believed in ghosts.

regular posters will know that I'm not really religious. Even so, this question is quite lame (not to mention Trollish!)
Even more people strongly believe that ghosts exist today! it's the most widely believed in paranormal phenomena! That really trips up your question. Now run along and play, it'll be your bedtime soon.

Um...so people DON'T believe in ghosts anymore? Tell that to the producers of all those ghost hunter TV shows. And people didn't believe in god hundreds of years ago?
Sorry, but your whole concept is flawed here...

No, in a hundred years there will still be people who understand about God. Most likely they will look back and wonder how people could be so foolish to reject something so important based upon the words of some very uninformed doubters.

The world as you know it will not exist in a few hundred years, so there's no point in pursuing such a question.

No. People come back. I have been witness to two of them. I believe and I don't care if others think I am crazy. I was there, they were not.
