i'm just curious bcos, sometimes i see very good questions, sinking in to the sea of resolved questions without a single star..then again, there are totally dumb questions, which hardly deserve it, getting 10-12 stars..so do you give 'em a star when:
i)you find the question very interesting or differnt?
ii)the question is asked by one of your contacts?
iii)the person actually asks you to star the question?
iv)or do you just like the star to be yellow and not a transparent silvery-blue?

If I think the question is good. . .thought provoking I will star it.
If I think it is something my contacts would be interested in reading I will also star it.
Unfortunately, many good questions get passed by too quickly because of the amount of questions asked here.

I normally star a question that has meaning and some thought put into it. People that are asking for a prayer or some sincere help. There are a lot of people on my contact list that are knowledgable and I trust them to give a sincere answer to a sincere question, or prayer. The star thing for me is more based on the fact that I was challenged and it was a good question, want to share it with other people.

I star questions for 3 reasons
1 that they are interesting and intelligent
2 if I think someone in my contacts/fans would like it
3 if they are funny (less likely this would be if it follows a pun of the day)
most seem to be for humor sake

I don't star good questions...I star questions I want the people who are part of "My Contacts" to see and hopefully answer.
I'm Catholic, as are most of my contacts. If there is a question pertaining to Catholicism, I will sometimes star it so that others can offer answers as well.

a famous individual is an exceedingly super merchandise with adequate mass to ignite nuclear fusion at its center. As you already reported, taking pictures stars are "small asteroid rocks that have disintegrated as they attempt enter Earth's environment". So for sure they don't seem to be stars - "taking pictures famous individual" is basically the colloquial term, no longer a medical label.

I star questions I think are interesting.
I star a question if I get best answer on it.
I tend to star questions if they are asked by my contacts more than I do people I don't know.
I *always* star all of Acid Zebra's questions, no matter what they are. ;)
