In Russian "I miss" can be said as "ya budu skuchat pa" or "ya budu toskovat pa". It is the same. "Pa" is a preposition and should be followed by pronoun or a name, etc. "I will miss you" is "Ya budu toskovat po tebe."

Most people will say "ya budu skuchat' pa", "taskavat'..." sounds a bit bookish.

There's a chance that they might both be correct, since there are multiple ways of expressing a single thought in every language. However, if I had to choose one or the other, I'd put my money on Я буду скучат, or however it's spelled, simply because it contains "Я." However, I don't know Russian save for a few words here and there, but that "Я" just stands out to me, y'know?

Ya budu skuchat po tebe=I will miss you
Ya budu skuchat to tebe=I will miss you so much, it will pain me.
Toska=Deppression, longing.

Both are correct and are different ways of basically saying the same thing. I guess the main difference is that "taskavat" is a lot more romantic-sounding and serious.

I agree with СВЕТА that "toskavat" is used more in literature than in speech.

Тосковать (по) - taskavat' pa
Скучать (по - skuchat' pa

"по", as someone said earlier, is a preposition.
