Average for Cockers is 12-14 years. The English having a slightly longer longevity than the American. Much depends on where you get the dog from. Cocker Spaniels can have a range of health problems and getting a puppy from a breeder who is knowledgable and does all the nesseccary health screenings and testings for hereditary diseases will give you a healthy dog with a longer life.

American Cocker Spaniels live for 12 - 15 yrs. They are 14 - 15 inches in height and weight 24 to 28 pounds.
