I'm a novice at this, and I see where one can send only 20 MB, as an attachment. I guess my ? is, can you send video files, and if so, how. Thanks to all you young whippersnappers out there.

It gives you the ability to upload a file up to 100mbs then they give you a link to the download page, you can send this link to anyone.
or you can divide the file into small chunks that can be sent individually and the recepient can recompile them into the original file again. you will need a small software for this, one possible software is hjsplit (used to split big files only). winrar (you can compress a huge folder with many files in it, into multiple equal sized chncks). then the end user can uncompress them to the original folder

http//www.uploadr.com and upload your file..It will give you a link for download or to send the link to someones email or even your email..
Use the link to download everytime. You can even password protect the link....
The file will be valid for 3 days..

You can use Windows Live Messenger to transfer such video to someone... and also using its share folder function where you can share any files with your friends across the internet

nicely, Gmail allows you to deliver large archives (as much as 1GB i think of), yet if you consider which you have a yahoo account, Yahoo Messenger 9.0 allows you to proportion archives of as much as 2GB. merely make advantageous your chum has the messenger and you're set.
