I start from top to bottom. First I wash may hair, then I use conditioner but don't rinse it out. Then I wash may face & rinse. Then I proceed from my neck down to the lower part of my body. I then rinse my hair & body. I leave the conditioner on as long as possible & let the steam & heat work with the conditioner to condition my hair. A couple times a week I use a warming pumpkin mask & I let that stay on my face while I shower & rinse it off when I rinse the conditioner out of my hair. I think that you mouth has the most bacteria.

1. Wet hair, shampoo and rinse
2. Shampoo and rinse hair again
3. Put conditioner in your hair
4. wash the rest of your body with soap from the top down.
5. Rinse the conditioner out of your hair
6. rinse your entire body again to get all the loose hairs off
7. turn off the water, step out of the shower, and grab a towel
I am SOO curious why you are asking this!!!

Shampoo hair, wash face, ears, and neck, rinse face and hair, apply conditioner to hair, wash shoulders, chest, back, stomach, genitals, and rear end. Rinse cloth, soap up, wash legs and feet. Rinse body and hair.
It's really not about the whole bacterial thing - you just really ought to wash your face before down-below, and I only have that opinion because it's what's advised in regard to bathing a baby.

I always start from top to bottom. There's no point in starting any other way since all the dirt travels down your body when you rinse.

leave in cond. while you wash your body from shoulders down

its best to leave the Cond. in while you soap up because it makes your hair softer :D
