okay here is the quick rundown , i had the discovery channelon and it was talking about the history of the devil, anway i guess i had fallen asleep and in my dream i was in church but this lady was trying to possess me , and i started speaking in tounges , and kinda shaking , but when i woke up i was realy doing this . i don't know about the speaking in tounges part but i know i was speaking in a language i don't even know, can someone help me out here?

Delana, this is what your dream means. You said that you were watching the history channel about the devil and you fell asleep. The woman you saw trying to possess you was the spirit of witch craft or a demonic spirit which works through witchcraft. But what God is showing you is that you are saved, but you have not realized that the Lord desired to fill you with His Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Read Mark 16:15-18. The speaking in tongues represent you being filled with the Holy Spirit, while the "shaking" represents you also being possessed with the Holy Spirit and not something evil. God was showing you that the devil by trying to bring some kind of evil into your life to destroy you, but God sealed you with His Spirit so that the devil would not have power over your life. When you woke up out of the dream, the Holy Spirit was making intercession for you concering issues in your life. When a person speaks in a unknown language, it is the Holy Spirit making intercession on your behalf to God, about things you do not know how to pray for. It can be someone in your family is going to be hurt or you, it can be for a friend, your health, somebody is going to commit suicide and on and on. God is drawing you near to Him because of terrible things which are about to happen in the world, so He can take care of you and provide for you through your relationship with Him. First of all, you got affected by the media - disney channel. That is why dream about something like that.
Second, you think you are speaking in tongues. But subconsciously you are playing back what you viewed on the TV and translate into different thing in your subconscious mind. Actually, that is not speaking in tongues, that is babbling. That is not a language! If it is a language, someone will know it is.
If you are familiar with the Bible, you will know speaking in tounges need witnesses, in other words, that is not from God. In your case, I don't think it is from devil either. It is just your subconscious mind got affected by the TV you watched before you went to sleep. That is all.

When you dream, your mind can do 2 things, 1. it can run over the moments in the day or some moments in your life, you might have gone to church that day and met an akward lady? 2. G-D is sending you a message through your soul, telling you about something. But otherwise, i wil pray for you.

When we dream, we sometimes talk and move. You simply woke up in the midst of that action. What you see in the waking world is reflected in the dream world so it was natural that you'd have this kind of dream.
To err on the side of caution, I would speak with a pastor.

Dreams mean nothing. That dream is just your imagination in overload over the tv program you were watching. Just because you were acting out your dream in reality doesn' t make it different in anyway.

there is a hormone called DMT in your brain and when you dream this hormone causes you to have very vivid and sometimes creepy dreams. we interpret these dreams to mean something but it is just a natural occurence in your brain.
