If you want to get a ton of "dirt" on the Mormon Church, get a copy of "Secret Ceremonies" by Deborah Laake. She's a former Mormon who was excommunicated by the church, and she wrote a tell-all book that upset the Mormon Community no end. Only about the first half of it is worth reading, as far as "secrets" go (the last half being her trials and tribulations and personal problems for the most part), but the first portion is very informative.

The real secrets of the Mormon church are not what happens in the temple. It is a ceremony that to me is no stranger than a catholic mass. The baptisms for the dead look just like they would if you saw someone converting to the church and getting baptized. The only difference is the wording to indicate that it is being done on behalf of someone who is dead. (No they don't actually drag the dead bodies into the font.) The temple marriage ceremonies are actually quite special. All of this is held very special to Mormons. They call it sacred, but since some people are too ignorant to understand the concept they say secret. Yes, I am questioning the church, and it's truthfulness myself, but having been in the church for so long, I am tired of the idiots who make up stuff about it to scare people away. Yes it is different, but no more so than Judea, or Islamic. They all seem strange to each other. I think the big secret is whether it really is true. The leaders of the church discourage reading anything that is even slightly against the church, which to me is what provides the appearance of secrecy.

The secrets of the Mormon church are not that secret any more. They are supposed to be a Christian church but the temple rites worship Satan. That has been documented by Chuck and Dolly Sackett years ago and it has been updated when the church changed their work based on their criticisms. Have a look at the temples. Why do they have Occultic and Freemasonic symbols on them?

The Mormons have special undergarments that they wear, the temple has a room below where baptisms for the dead take place, there is a washing and anointing room that is used for the Mormon Eternal Marriage Ceremony, there is a blessing room. In the temple they take all kinds of oaths and given signs. They even take an oath of vengence.

There's no 'secrets' actually. It's all in their doctrine, books and publications, plus census data, town meeting records, court records and church membership rolls, genealogy records, microfilms, mDNA, archaeological evidence (or lack of) that can support or deny any aspect of mormonsim.
Like the cousin in jail for the criminally insane, they just don't talk about it.
