It's not morally wrong, but you will look like an idiot.

White was originally worn at weddings to signify purity, I.e, that the woman was a Virgin. That`s why a lot of people who are getting married for the second time ( or more ) don`t wear white. If the Bride or Bridegroom are wearing white then a guest who also wears white may detract from them ( and you don`t want to do THAT ), so find out what they`re wearing and dress accordingly. Remember, if you wear white then you may be mistaken for either the Bride or the Groom.

Might be kind of HARD to wear a suite to a wedding.
Suite = a group of rooms in a hotel/motel more like a home.
Suit = a nice outfit, with jacket, shirt, pants and sometimes a vest, and yes, it would be wrong as a guest to wear a white one to a wedding.

I would say avoid it at all costs.
By tradition it is rude for a female guest to wear white because it seems as though you are trying to upstage the bride.
Just because you are a man doesn't change this rule though. Keep in mind that the bride wants to stand out in her white dress. Also think of the photography, you would stand out and look odd. And what if the groom wears a white tux, which is common? Even if he doesn't wear white you'll still stand out and look like a groom wanna be.
Avoid it!

Yes, the only one who should be in white is the bride, this goes for any guest at the wedding. White is just not allowed.

Do you have a light tan summer suit? If so go with that if you want to wear light colors. Otherwise, you cant go wrong in a black or navy blue suit.

No, my dear. It is not wrong to wear a white suit (not suite) at a wedding. Although it isn't very popular to wear one nowadays, but you're not wrong by wearing one; even if you're "just" a guest.

Hope you don't soil your suit at the wedding, though. Have fun!

Yes- the ONLY person in that wedding (including guests) that should be wearing white is the bride.

The only exception to this would be if your wearing a military uniform that the dress uniform is white.

hope it helps

I would guess that wearing an entire suite would be rather cumbersome and uncomfortable.

If one were to wear a white suit, however, it may appear that they are part of the wedding party or the groom himself. It is generally recommended for a man to wear a dark colored suit as a guest to a wedding.

The only one who should be wearing white to a wedding is the bride. You may look like you're auditioning for the lead roll in Saturday Night Fever. Go with black or navy.
