Hello!!
Well, let's ponder this. Why do BAD things happen to GOOD people? I believe "bad" folks, who seem to forever "walk between the raindrops" are actually on a "run-a-way train" and they don't even know it. "Pride comes before the fall"' just as "undeserved riches + luck, etc."
come before the big CRASH.
It may not happen right away, but it ALWAYS does, eventually.
On the "flip-side", when bad things happen to good people, I truly believe it is to "strengthen" their faith and courage, to excell further in life to achieve their goals. I hope this helps you, iceman!! I-L-B-C-N-U!!!!

Good things happen to good people.
Good things happen to bad people.
Bad things happen to good people.
Bad things happen to bad people.
The universe is random. There is no sky pixie up there to make it 'fair' or 'just'.
You take what the universe throws at you and make the best of it.

Good and bad things happen to everyone. There is good and bad in everyone. You could use research and application of positive thinking.

Great question! Peta's answer pretty well says it: luck. Times past I've done what I thought were "good things" and in the wake of it, drifted, and a week later I wasn't so "good" and I won 10K on the lottery.

As the Bible says, God is a God of love. He lets the wicked enjoy life too.
Especially because unbelievers and wicked cannot inherit neither the heavenly nor the earthy reward, they are permitted to live their lives until their cup of sin is full where after till the everlasting dead it goes.

When you say "good things," from whose perspective are they good things? Satan takes care if his own, but the end result of his influence is death. Don't get caught up in the hype.

God loves all, even sinners, he just doesnt like the sin, some will continue to get blessed, its all God's plan for our lives. Who are we to judge whether or not someone is bad.
