Great idea. Make insulation for houses out of it. Or toss it outside and let the birds make insulated nests out of it.

I've seen art made of dryer lint. The lady who does it dries ALL her colors separately so that she has all different colors with which to work. I thought it was a good use of a generally wasted material, and her art was pretty. But I like your idea better. After all, we may not all have the creativity to be dryer lint artistes.
You should get to work on that! :D

Drier lint can be used to make fairly good felt, if you don't mind the colors being determined by what you'ved washed.
The felting process can be a pain in the butt though.
Drier lint also makes EXCELLENT fire starter. I used to roll it up into balls about an inch in diameter, dip them quickly in a bit of melted parafin to protect them and shape them, then take them on camping trips. I could light fires with a single one of those and a single match...

It's good for starting fires in a survival situation. Although, I don't expect you would happen to have some dryer lint with you in such a situation...

I'm actually wearing a lint navel sweeter right now!
I like trying to recycle stuff, and I guess lint is a good one.

Using a dryer wastes electricity. Drying clothes naturally would make us better stewards.

That is one of the most creative recycling ideas I have heard of. I'm sure it's possible if someone would just put their mind to it.
Of course, good luck getting people to actually do it. They seem to have enough trouble just dropping soda cans in a bin...
