Sure it is ok for a woman to ask a man out on a date - however it is not ok for a LADY to ask a man out on a date. There is a difference you know.

For me I think it is kind of refreshing for a guy to ask a girl out on a date, it is a nice change from the mundane. At the same time I would only feel liek that's ok if the guys oblivious about how you feel otherwise I feel like he needs to man up and just ask you.

Define OK... Sure, women can ask men on dates... but I guarentee that when guys go around bragging about how they met the love of their life... they won't be talking about the girl that asked them out... if guys want something, they will go and get it. They will go to distant measures to pursue what they think will be a great conquest... and if they guy won't do that... then who wants to be with a tool anyways?
Sure you can do it, but it doesn't always fare well, at least in my experience.

i have to say that going up to a pretty lady is nerve racking sometimes, especially if your asking for some time with her. its nice that there are some ladies willing to ask. if a guy is too shy to come up to you and taking that chance, his confidence may be low. by approaching a shy guy, he'll have more confidence, knowing that ladies are interested. big confidence booster for sure. if hes a guy that you know would ask a girl out and hasn't asked you out yet, he may not be interested and you can move on to the next guy. lol. hope this helps you out. ^_^ good luck

Of Course. Stop letting people tell you that the guy should ask you out because he may never ask you out and you will miss out on your opportunity. But then again don't be so aggressive and also don't tell him how you really feel until he's ready. Too much on one plate will run him away.

I certainly hope so since I did recently. I have a friend that I want to get closer with so I asked him to dinner. We had a great time, but I still don't know if he wants more or not. Anyway, definitely ask him out if you're interested!
