I wrote this down as my now ex-mother-in-law was making them, she didn't have a recipe written down. They are the BEST eggs ever!

Deviled Eggs

2 dozen hard boiled eggs – Cut in half and lightly mash yokes
24 shakes of Seasoned Salt – shake a little heavier than you would put it on your steak
13 shakes of Garlic Salt – same type of shakes as above
10 shakes of Mrs. Dash – mix and mash the yokes with the seasonings
1 tsp. of Salt
Pepper – out of the tin, squeeze the tin 18 times, otherwise pepper to taste
Stir and mash yokes some more
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon of prepared mustard
Mash yokes well
1 good tbsp. Thousand Island dressing
1-1/2 tbsp. steak sauce or worchestershire sauce
1 tsp. plus a dash of Beau Monde
3 tbsp. pickle relish
Mix together well
Add 8 tbsp. of Mayonnaise
Stir together well and taste, salt and pepper to taste

You can make it spicy if u like spicy food and anyway here's the recipe.

SPICY DEVILLED EGGS

6 hard cooked eggs
1 tbsp. fresh parsley
1 tbsp. scallions, minced
1 small jalapeno pepper
1/4 cup Miracle Whip
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon cilantro (optional)
pinch cayenne pepper
pinch chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon horseradish, grated
1/4 teaspoon celery seed

Slice each egg in half crosswise. Scrape out yolks saving contents in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard and blend together. Add remaining ingredients to combine.
Spoon approximately 1 tbsp. of the yolk mixture into each egg half. Sprinkle lightly with chili powder and paprika. Garnish with a sprig of parsley.

A little mayo - or layo substitute, with a little
white vinegar, or if you're bold and don't mind the look of the egg mixture being dark - I use balsamic vinegar (after you smash it & mix it with the mayo mixture).

Some people add a little mustard to the mixture.

Dust with paprika after you put the mix back into the cooked egg white.

Balsamic vinegar makes it slightly sweet - which is different and pleasing to me.

GOD bless us one and all, always.

My mother made them with Miracle Whip, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, and a tsp. of white vinegar. The vinegar is what I consider the secret ingredient.

My husband has me make them a different way. He likes real mayo, Dijon, and dill relish. And they're really good! I still garnish either of them with paprika and a green olive. If I make both kinds, the Miracle Whip ones get a green olive and the mayo ones get a black olive.

I like my deviled eggs spicy.
my usual mix for 6 eggs is:
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon vinegar
7 drops of hot sauce
a pinch of salt and pepper
enough ranch dressing to get a creamy texture
and then sprinkled with paprika

I always use a teaspoon of white vinegar to 6 egg yolks...also yellow prepared mustard to taste and I also add miracle whip (not mayo). Of course, they aren't really deviled until you add the paprika on top.

1 dz eggs (boiled, peeled, halved, yolks set aside)
Mayo
Mustard
1/2 jar "Sweet Cube" pickles (drained keeping 1 tsp juice only)
Salt/Pepper
Paprika (or cajun seasoning if you prefer spicy)
Garlic Powder
1/2 small onion (chopped finely)

mash yolks, add mayo, squeeze yellow or dijon mustard, add pickles, sprinkle modestly with garlic powder, add onions, salt/pepper and mix well. Taste...if mixture is too thick and not creamy, you can add a little more mayo. If it seems too dry, add the tsp of pickle juice. I sometimes pipe in the mixture to the eggs to make the design prettier, or you can simply take a small teaspoon and neatly place in the egg.

Enjoy!!!!

when I mash my yolks I do it by eye, but have found that
hot dog relish or pickle relish with some mustard, some mayo, salt pepper, season salt, minced up very fine onion
and well squish before adding to the egg white halfs.
I make mine in a ziplock and the grands do the squishing, then we cut the tip of a bottom corner of the bag..so they can "pipe" the filling into the eggs
then always..a sprinkle of paparika..the better quality if possible..yummmy
