Look in the mirror and see exactly where the darkness is. Then feel the edge where the darkness begins. Is it the edge where your eye socket is? If so then there is nothing that you can do except use a correction stick. What you are seeing is the darkness created by the orbital socket of your eye.

Does cucumber help. No.
Will it help swelling? There is nothing in the cucumber which will do this. However, being cool, it reduces the small capillaries in the skin as well as being prone also helps. But, unfortunately once you stand up and the skin warms, they will be back.

Sorry

Hope this helps

I highly doubt it lol, the dark circles round the eyes is caused by not drinking enuf water, so the moisture in the cucumber reduces tht. The redness on the nose, i have the same thing - i recommend Nutrogena facial scrub pads - theyre amazing & really clear ur skin up =D xxx

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

I have some cucumber gel that reduces puffiness, but I've not noticed dark circle reduction on days that I do have them.

Try some pharmacists' creams from Boots that lighten the eye area, I thinkk No7 and Garnier etc do them.

If that doesn't help, consult a doctor, just incase it's a sign of anaemia or anything more serious. xx

Cucumber is good for the eyes because it relaxes them. Rub raw potato around your eyes too to prevent dark circles.
