Bush rushed to war in Iraq despite no real evidence of WMDs. It is fair to say Bush has killed more Americans than Saddam. Now we are bogged down. more troops dying now than before, and insurgents getting great training to kill Americans.

Remember, it was Bush that got us into this war. does not matter if you quote Pelosi or Bill Clinton, because they did not get us into this war, Bush DID. He is the biggest idiot since Jeff Davis left the Union in 1860's. Iraq war so unnecessary. Why did Bush sacrifice our troops like this while he still takes month long vacations?

yes, but the first thing our troops secured was the iraqi oil ministry. Of course they had to leapfrog over huge stockpiles of weapons, and the iraqi national museum, but hey, that is war right?

The blunder wasn't going into Iraq, Taking out Saddam is a good thing, still is. The blunder is the fact that no one anywhere in the administration was prepared for an insurgency.
They though that after constructing a government ever thing would be good, but didn't take into consideration that these people never even thought of an idea like democracy. And you add in 1000's of years of religious wars and now you want these factions to come together for there 'country'?
They don't think like western the word 'country' has no meaning over there, the only words that matter are family and religion, combining religions and family's together for a country is an idea that the Iraqi people don't understand yet.

The war is not the problem. The war was a rousing success, with Hussein being toppled in short order. It is the peace which has become problematic.
I wish people who are against the war would get off of the WMD bandwagon though. You can argue that Bush rushed to war if you choose, but everyone and I mean everyone, including your favorite Democrats and the United Nations believed that Hussein had WMDs prior to the war. This argument is so old and tired it is hardly worth commenting on anymore.
I do believe it is time to begin withdrawing from Iraq. They have a government and they have a military. We cannot force Democracy on these people and we cannot play beat cop in Iraq forever. If they are ever truly to find independence they must begin standing in their own defense. Freedom is not free and no one appreciates anything which is given to them.
Edit: Your additional comments create a new point of contention. It is not perse Bush's war. Congress voted to authorize the use of force. So I hate to break it to you, but this is America's war whether you choose to believe it or not. Now your only defense against this statement would be to again bring up WMDs which brings us back to the original arguments and makes all of the statements you dismiss by Democrats wholly relevant again. Nice try, but it just doesn't wash.

I like "Anti-Libbers" quotes... DO recall that for 8 years the Clinton Administration, the French, Brits, etc had ALSO stated that there were undestroyed stockpiles of WMD's. President Clinton had called for "Regime Change", and most of the Democrats voted FOR the Authorization of Use of Force.
I think the BLUNDER is actually mostly to be laid at the feet of former SECDEF Rumsfeld... he didn't listen to the JCS and others who said "SURE we can destroy his military with a smaller force... but what about the post-war period?"
We SHOULD look Iran and Syria in the eye and just flat out destroy any depots from which THEY supply weapons to insurgents...
We SHOULD HAVE had far more "police" forces to follow-on the armored-columns, we should have RETAINED their army and police forces, we shoulda, we shoulda, we shoulda...
I just love that not ONCE has a Dem come forth with any sort of PLAN...
Oh, I'm a Republican (about to do a Bloomberg though) who DOES think President Bush IS abit of an idiot... hearing him speak insults me as though he is speaking to a class of 5th graders !!

Iraq isn't a blunder. because of the fact the CIA assisted Saddam in his transforming into dictator of Iraq, Iraq has been needed to the oil bypass to the U. S.. Our presence there, when you consider that Saddam stop following orders, keeps our protection tension on top of problems with the finished region as to evade the disruption of the oil aspects. If we certainly need out of Iraq, we ought to renounce our SUV's and initiate using Bio fuels. the subsequent president or administration will save us in touch militarily interior the Mideast for some years. except we are able to alter the way we are residing, issues must be saved the comparable.

no, it's no blunder. The WMD and alleged AQ links were merely the pretext to invade.
The outcome was to render Iraq incapable again as a threat to the 'region'--goal accomplished-- next stop Iran on the PNAC shopping list!
The Order of Skull and Bones at Yale is an Order of the Illuminati of which Prescott , GH and GW Bush are members as is John Kerry. International bankers like Prescott Bush, George W's grandfather, funded Hitler.
George W. Bush belongs to an Illuminati family whose loyalty is to One World Government dictatorship, not to the US.
The NWO in its endgame for One World Government - it is provoking a 'clash of civilizations' between the West and Islam which they plotting to lead to WWIII..
The New World Order is well on track to One World Fascism you should have little doubt.

look into Iraq's history and how many times we were over there inspecting for weapons and when ted koppel was going into Baghdad with Marines there is a place they pass on the right of them is a stock pile of weapons that just disappeared and all the money Saddam and Odie/his brother had on them when caught.(where do you think money came from? they emptied the bank ,but also look how Odie went out like Scarface and Saddam hiding in hole like rat he was.
want that war in your backyard or street>? NO!!! then yes Bush is doing and all our soldiers are doing what they need to do, to make sure we are not living in that life style and war is not in our streets.

It started with Jimmy Carter's administration and escalated to 9/11. We needed to do SOMETHING. He went throught the legal proper chanels to get authorization to go to war! What exactly is your issue????????????????

did you liberals thumb down anti lib because he is right and he has fact instead of the propaganda you have. Here is a video of all the Democrats on different shows saying we should go to war and that they though Saddam had WMD'S.
It's sick how delusional people are that they won't listen to the truth, that is sad that you choose to believe propaganda over truth just because it fits what you believe.
