I have always heard babies wont over eat but what about a 3 1/2 year old? She is just a little chubby but I don't want it to become a problem. She is a variety of healthy foods, including veggies. We rarely eat fast food or sweets and only drinks water milk and one small cup of 100% apple juice per day but she may eat 2 eggs and 2 pcs of toast for breakfast. Or 3 packages of instant oatmeal! (I give her small portions and she asks for more) But, That really seems like alot to me. My 4 1/2 year old son doesnt eat as much as she does. I would never put her on any kind of diet or restict her calories or anything like that.

I have talked to her pediatrician and he says she is just fine. I told him what she eats and he said that sounded fine and just keep giving healthy foods and give her a little more when she asks. It just seems like alot of food to me. She is not fat at all, just chubby a little.

I would just give her 1 egg and 1 toast along with some fruit and yogurt . Or 1 - 2 packages of oatmeal with fruit. (Not too much fruit throughout the day though, lots of natural sugar) I don't think she will really over eat . She may be having a growth spurt and is really hungry.
If it comes to a point where you are really worried you could talk to her pediatrician.

At that age you can control the type of food she eats. You have mentioned that you are already serving veggies and fruits. Be cautious about about fruit juices because the are loaded with sugar and consequently unwanted calories. Offer water and remember that children do not overeat as adults do. She sounds like a healthy active little girl, with a good appetite.

let her eat as much as she wants (of healthy food of course) toddlers go threw tons of developing and shes probably aout to go through a a growth spurt and donnnnnt restrict her you could mess up her eating habits for the rest of her life just keep it healthty and she will be fine maybe get her into gymnastics or dance children lovvve that its good for them and it gives them good exercise habits for their lives

you need to start controlling her eating or she will have a weight problem if she is already chubby then you already have a problem. Take her to your pediatrician and ask for a diet . goodluck.

Yes and no.
3 years old kids have to play, run, jump... as much as possible to use calories and have fun.
