i have a 4 year old that is ADHD and may be bi-polar he is very jelouse of his 11 month old brother they play good together at times but it turns into a battle he is even revent to hitting him hard enough to put hand prints on him and a few bruises we do all that we can equal to them but nothing seems to help or is working and the time out went out the window 2 months ago im am beside myself with him he don't seem to care about anything anymore and is starting to get more distance and more abusive to everyone around him even the pets anyone with any ideas please send them my way thank you

Talk to your odctor. this sounds like serious behavior that needs to be addresses by a therapist and your pediatrician.

Get this child to your pediatrician right away. For the safety and well being of your younger child and you as a family. This little boy needs help. They should not be left alone for a moment if there is a chance the older could physically harm his brother.

Take him ASAP, for his own good. This child is in serious jeopardy.

Maybe you should get him some counseling. I know that sounds kind of crazy, but it may help. It's normal for the older ones to be jealous but it seems like yours is getting a little out of control. You need to nip it in the bud now before it really gets out of hand. Get some professional help

I agree with Daybreak. This sounds like a more serious problem than a jealous brother.

i'm not a medical professional, but i would have to say maybe try being more positive in situations, and maybe more one on one with you might help, you know plan a certain activivty everyday that is just for him, hope it helps and good luck...
