He had poo and many times it was together with blood.
He said he doesnt feel sick at all and the poo was not even hard to make a wound to his asshole, so why was the bleeding?
Is it a symptom of some serious illness?

I wish someone can help and provide useful information for the mean time. He'll go to the doctor soon...

By the wording of your question, I'd say you are under 30 and I would assume that your friend is also. Colon cancer is unlikely but there are other conditions that can cause blood in stool or rectal bleeds. What most people think is a "lot of blood" is not that much when viewed by the professional eye. Chances are that the cause is relatively harmless and imminently treatable, however, your friend should see his doctor for an evaluation.

FYI: "greenfish17" mentioned telling the nurse when your friend contacts his doctor. He won't be speaking to a nurse. He'll be speaking to a medical assistant. Nonetheless, he should still be worked in sooner.

There are a lot of reasons for bleeding stools. The main thing is not to panic - the likelihood of anything serious is slim but you're better to be safe than sorry.

Have your friend visit a doctor soon for confirmation that everything is fine - just be there to provide your friend with the support he'll need right now.

I realise this might be considered as embarrasing - you don't have to go to your family doctor, just get it seen to quickly.

Remember, doctors are bound by their Hippocratic oath to maintain patient confidentiality.

Yes this is a symptom of serious illness.

It could be colon cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, or an ulcer in his large intestine, just to name a few possible causes.

He should go see a doctor A.S.A.P.

If he tells the nurse about this when he calls to make an appointment they will get him in today or tomorrow.

Yes that's pretty serious, tell your "friend" to go see a doctor asap. If it's only a few times a week, no big rush, but have it checked out - it could be nasty!

Yes, he should be worried its not very normal at all, unless he suffers from constipation? He really needs to check the doctor as soon as possible!
