For me personally, both of these qualities have an effect on a man...most of the time. I've met the prettiest of women who had their head in the clouds and then I've met just the cutest of women whos personalities made them look gorgeous!! A man that is looking for sex just wants the physical. A man that's looking for love wants the physical first, but the personality in the long-run.

Both. Obviously, physical attraction plays a part in EVERY relationship. But I also look for many personality qualities... Which is really the defining factor between a girl and girlfriend material.

You need both to attract men, at first they will see the physical and then they will want the personality to give it.
If you are very beautiful but are as bright as a box of rocks, well what good will that do?

It's both, but personality is way more important. I've met some very beautiful women whose personality ruined their looks. I've also met some women who I wouldn't normally consider attractive, but after getting to know them, I was quite attracted to them. If I had to choose between the two, I'd have to say personality. It takes a REALLY ugly woman to ruin a great personality, but you don't have to be much of a b**ch to make no one care that you look like Miss America.

In the beginning, it is her looks that will attract me to her. But, it will be her personality that will keep me around for the long term. Women probably need to have both.

It's all of the above. Of course the first thing is always going to be the initial physical attraction. But as things progress it can quckly become about the other things. I think the best thing about a woman is if she has a good head on her shoulders and a good sense of humor.

First it is the physical than the personality. A way a woman holds herself, nice eyes, smile and skin. They can be all different body types, but a woman who is healthy and comfortable in their own skin is very attractive.
The personality needs to be intelligent, not self absorbed, determined and fun.

...it generally for men starts usually from a visual perspective darling...but eventually it WILL turn to your personality traits and behaviors and whatnot. No man is gonna be perfect or immune to social indifference's with some women otherwise. I just say go after what you like reasonably...and hope for the best in whatever your designs for romance are sweetie...otherwise trade up for a new model...unless you're married or something...it's not illegal to do so anyways!

firstly physically, caus the guys need something to attract there attention, then personality when the like her and wants to get closer to her.

I like the "weirder" people, I find they're more interesting and generally have a better personality too, its kind of a mix with me.
