I have been taking clonazepam for quite awhile now, and have taken both the name brand and generic versions, in all strengths, and I have NEVER seen a green one.
How green is it? The 0.5 mg name brand is yellow - slightly greenish - but definitely yellow, and both the 1 and 2 mg are light blue. In the generics the 0.5 mg and 2 mg are white, and the 1 mg is yellow.
I would take it to the pharmacy to check it out before taking it, just to be sure it's the right thing. Better safe than sorry (could be an ex-lax - never know!).

Of course I have to preface this answer with the fact that I would be very careful taking pills you are not sure of what they are, or whether or not they have gone bad - let alone the fact that one needs a prescription and the advice of a doctor to monitor such medicines as you mention.
However, this website may be of use to you:
http://www.drugs.com/pill_identification.html
This website allows you to identify pills by name, color shape or markings on the pill. It has a search wizard which will show you pictures of almost all types of pharmaceutical drugs I have come across and gives you more information about them.
But to answer your question more directly (and of course I am NOT a doctor) - Wikipedia states that the 2 drugs you mention are the same. It says:
"Clonazepam (marketed by Roche under the trade-names Klonopin in the United States and Rivotril in Europe, South America, Canada, India, and Australia) is a drug which is a benzodiazepine derivative."
Hope this helps.
