Pascals wager is; if you're an atheist then you should worship god because then if it turns out your wrong you can still go to heaven. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN? Wouldn't it be full of jibbering religious nuts and boring people, whereas hell would be filled with, as well as murders etc., smart sophisticated intellectuals with an interest in science, philosophy, art and psychology. So.......?

M. Bogdan, I speak nonsense on Y/A on purpose. My intention is to get to the root of the belief in religion. I can't understand why people will defend their beliefs against all logical reason so I use psychological methods to expose the truth. And I've found it, not in Y/A, but in the writings of Einstein. Science without religion is boring... I think I know what he meant now. Experience has though me that religion cannot be understood by attacking it with logic because it's rooted in emotion, which isn't logical. To be honest I didn't realise this myself, I had some help from Locust down there. Einstein's God is the emotional reaction one has when he/she realises just how small and insignificant they are in the universe. They become either afraid and vulnerable/ lonely/ or fascinated. I'll email you later about it.

that is user-friendly... I persist with what i've got faith. I evaluate many distinctive ideals and persist with those that make the main experience to me. I do basically the suitable with what i've got have been given. If i visit be punished for that, so be it. I did my suitable to confirm and do what i presumed develop into precise, it particularly is all i will do. For the record, i develop into no longer raised in my modern-day faith, yet I certainly have been training it for 18 years now. yet in my faith, there is not any such factor as "precise" one-- all religions are guy-made the thank you to attune with a extra physically powerful ability. we ought to constantly attempt to discover the only that helps us do this suitable, yet all of them deliver approximately the comparable place. So the techniques of Pascal's wager, that some individuals are precise or some individuals are incorrect, is beside the point to my faith.

Smart sophisticated intellectuals are not stupid as you... there I said it.

I love philosophy (have ideas), art (painted in black and white), psy. (love it) as well as other stuff (you know poetry, books, etc.) And I don`t think hell and heaven to exist. It is only a term to defy bad and good people. I think heaven = smart people, refined, good, etc..... hell = murders, etc.

Cause if I say 2 things:

1. If there is life after death then (maybe your soul persists and the good and bad things you done in life are a balance of your "pain" or "happiness"

2. if there is no life after death (then we die and that is all)

But even so! It does not matter cause we will be immortal! through are family, friends to remember us.

And I want to modify and write more and more books and poetry so I would help people understand or love books more. :) ok bye..

PS: what I said at first: yes smart people are open minded not narrow like you, they can not bellive in God yes (as me, I sometimes bellive sometimes don`t - though you know in what kind of god I bellive...) so open minded see other possibilites and try to find answers, but you just talk nonsense over and over again...

The other problem with Pascal's wager is there are numerous religions in the world other than Christianity and one of them may be the right one...

Oh no, Hell is, for an atheist, the same place as Heaven is for a Christian. In Atheist hell, we get to sit on clouds, listen to harp music in the back ground, and billions of Christians say "NYA NYA we were right!" for ever and ever.

You really like to insult christians don't you?

Well, I can't say anything I guess!

And Oi! You said no more personal information on Y/A! But of course I would. I'll be there in half an hour!
