Jesus is the mediator between God and man. He is at the right hand of the Father making intercession for the saints. By his blood we can come before the throne of grace with confidence because we are clothed in His righteousness and not the filthy rags of our own self righteous deeds that are as chaff in the wind. When we bring our requests before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name according to God's will we can have confidence that God will hear our prayers and that we will receive that which we have asked for.

In truth, Jesus is no different than you & me...we are pure energy essence beings having a lifetime to accomplish our desired agenda. Things on Jesus' agenda were those of forgiveness, compassion, empathy, and unconditional love...much like those you & I may choose to experience of ourselves. In doing this, we grow in our true selves...our spirit selves...and thus, becoming more like the Father/Mother Godhead from which we were borne...Jesus is just as much a part of all that is as each of us are.
Our relationship with the Godhead is in pure love...it is for all, unconditionally, and without favor. Jesus was a grand role model for this human place who reflected the power in our ability to create, the wise use of free-will choice, as well as the inner-sight to see the purpose of experience. But as far as his "part" in our own relationship, there is none--we are all loved & held dearly just the same...God rejoices in all experience...See???

He bridges the gap between God & man...
Without Him....we are doomed
His death, burial & resurrection removed the veil from the holy of holies......we now have direct access to the Father because of Jesus Christ!!
There is no longer a need for a high priest because Jesus Christ is now our eternal high priest...interceeding on our behalf! (Read the book of Hebrews)
