I live in the United STates, which is south of Canada and all of us adore Jesus of the stories we hear as children!

I always find it ironic that in Britain where the head of the Church is the head of the State, there is a lot less hang ups about religion. A lot more tolerance towards people with other or no religion.
In the US a significant number of people get threatened for being an atheist. But here we are supposed to have separation of Church and State.

I'm English but live in Spain. I'm atheist so thus have no religion. Spain is a christian country? Yes, allegedly. Less than 12% of the population attend mass except for baptisms, marriages, requiems and first communions and most of my friends and neighbours have no liking for the church. I do like the Spaniards.

I'm German and in Germany, people are about a third atheist, a third catholic, and a third protestant. At least if you count church members. In real life, most people visit a church only for a wedding or burial.
Germany is a secular country. Politics and also daily life are quite separate from religion (though the state collects taxes for the church). In smaller villages, church life has some more relevance than in towns and cities.
I'm an atheist and I really have no problems being one in Germany. I don't advertise it, though. Religious people are easily offended, after all.

I live in Morocco, but am American. While I'm not religious, fortunately, Morocco allows its residents to practice whatever religion they like freely, although Muslims are not legally permitted to convert to other religions (few do anyway - since they're free to practice Islam without being held to Shari'a, and so can choose how strictly they want to practice it).

I'm in one of the most tolerant places on earth, where local population is less than 20% of the country's and this city's (the richest per capita). The multi-cultural aspect lends it its tolerance and amiable atmosphere I suppose.

The living in will follow our own willing but most of times we do not understand our own willing and suborn to holding tight our feeling which is wrongly guiding us to follow.

We get on with our lives with mercifully little interference or annoyance from religionists. Just the occasional JW brave enough to knock on my door and swift enough to escape the dog when I open it... happy days!
