no ways to get rid of it yourself-it has to go away on it's own (sorry).

leaving it alone is the best thing for it-the more you mess with it or try to put strange things on it (like toothpaste or food), the more irritated and "angry" it's going to get and it could flare up even more-looking 10 times more noticeable.

you didnt say what your role was in the wedding but if you're part of the bridal party-why not go to a salon the day of the wedding and have your makeup proffesionally done-they can blend your foundation just perfect to hide the bite so you won't even see it.

otherwise, have a friend help you apply your own makeup that way you have a second viewer and can make sure it's not noticeable.

you can apply some benadryl cream to the bite to help relieve itching and swelling. this might help make it go down before monday.

good luck to you!!

if you go to a local drug store there's usually some sort of After-Bite you can get. no it doesnt make the masquito bite go away, but it makes it stop itching. Since you dont itch it, it does down and just enough that you can put some overup on and it'll just look like a small pimple. And everyone gets pimples ;) Just don't itch it and it'll go down hun.
Good Luck!

You could try a paste of baking soda, vinegar, and salt. That should help draw the poison and reduce the swelling at least.

Good luck, and enjoy the wedding!

The bite has caused a reaction with the tissue, no amount of pressing or medication will get it to heal quickly, leave it alone or it will get irratated and look worse. try washing the area with medical alcohol this soothes the irratation.

You must be itching it an awful lot... since most bites usually go away within a day or so.... unless you itch them. I never had a bite last more than 2 days.

I think it has to go away on it's own. I have had them before but they usually don't last long but the more you mess with it the worse it might get.

A razor blade, but then you'll have a scab. I'd just put some stuff over it to hide it as much as you can.
