If you want free cats, you most likely have to find someone whose cat has kittens. If you have humane shelters in your area, you should go there to rescue one, but in the US there is an adoption fee which pays for the care and feeding of the cat while it was at the shelter. I'm a cat person - hope you find a real sweet one!
