sry about the drama....but i have a question...It's about Ulead video studio 10...when i try to import some videos from my hard-disk some work but some say "bla bla bla is not accessible" what's the problem?:|

guruji9x that was exactly the problem! i had to use sth called "divx fix " to compress the file differently and now it works...thanx :)

ganesh thanx. i resolved the problem.I had to compress the file using Divx because the file was compressed by Xvid and Ulead doesn't recognize it... :)

The Ulead program does not have the correct codec (decoder) to be able to open the file you are trying to access. There are multiple codecs for AVI files and MPG files. So it may be able to open one AVI file (because you have that codec) but not another.

The videos are encoded (compressed etc.) using codecs.. it is just that the ones which are playing are encoded with codecs which your copy of Ulead recognizes.. the others have been encoded using codecs unrecognized by your copy of Ulead.. Search in the help section of Ulead about codecs.. that might give you a pointer

check with the file format supported by ulead to import and see have u installed all the plug in to support all possible format!
u can get a solution go to help in ulead software and type importing!

Can u reach the file ?
copy the file to other location and then try.
and also try installing the Klite media player and then import.
It will if the problem if it is bcoz of codecs.
