For men, it's very common but for women, it can be more alarming. I should know bec I'm experiencing that myself and I'm still young (in my early thirties). Before consulting a specialist, I quicky changed my shampoo with something that's got mild ingredients and before shampooeing, I would usually dillute the small amount of shampoo with a bit of water so it doesn't come out too strong. My hair has become very brittle over the years. I try to use a comb and not a brush. I've stopped using conditioners too. Plus I've changed my eating habits (try to eat healthy food). They say pre-natal vitamins make your hair thick too but I haven't tried taking them. I asked if it's safe to take and the docs said yes (have never been pregnant). The pills just has more iron. Good luck!

That IS happening to me, I'm making the most of my hair whilst I still have some. When it gets too bad, I'm gonna have to shave it all off.

i would visit an endocrinologist, to investigate if my hormone levels are up to par. I would also invest into hair pieces. this is a sensitive topic, but it can be overcome, with intervention.
