I gave up without a fight, my childhood best friend, who became my lover, then my best friend again. All I would have had to have said, was yes, instead of no. It wasn't until my heart broke that I realised what love was, and is......

My broken heart lingers around thinking that I'm never going to find true love again.... we have a lot of fun.... and say 'oh well' and 'Mmmm' a lot. One of our favourite lines is 'better to have loved, than never to have loved at all' which some how justifies the pain.

I've been told that one of two things will happen to me:

1) I'll decide to settle down, and 'make it work' with someone, who I care about.

or

2) I will be given a second chance, and my guardian angel will lead me toward another special person, and that special person will be guided towards me.

Now they tell you, and was that necessary?

Paul McKenna wrote a book called "how to mend a broken heart". I liked that very much and found it helpful.

They get disolved in a pit of reflection and grief and slowly they digest and come out of your system, all the while a new, tougher, happier and better than before heart is building itself anew, just waiting for you to find the right time to start it up and live life to its fullest again.

I wish i knew. Im about to break my boyfirends heart so i hope his heart will go to someone who can make him happier than I could. Time is a great healer!!!

My friend they don't go anywhere, we just develope our own coping strategy. We find ways to deal with the heartache. Don't know how long your relationship was in place but take a read through this
